About Aleksandra Kuzmanovic
Aleksandra Kuzmanovic is a digital diplomacy, social media and leadership communication strategist with more than a decade of experience in global health at the World Health Organization (WHO).
In her current role as WHO’s Leadership and Positioning Social Media Manager, she advises Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and senior leadership on digital communication strategies that drive policy change and bridge gaps in global health dialogues.
Ms Kuzmanovic led WHO's social media response to the COVID-19 pandemic and was the lead anchor of the #AskWHO live social media podcast throughout the pandemic. Since then, she has led WHO's partnerships with the tech industry and academia, building evidence on the importance of social media communication in ensuring access to credible, timely health information and in driving change in people’s health decision-making.
She holds an MA in Standardization, Social Regulation and Sustainable Development from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and a BE in Quality Management from the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
