About Tanushree Jain

Tanushree Jain is a pharmacy graduate from India, currently serving as the Programme Director for WHO Bilateral Relations at the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF), representing more than 600,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates from 100+ countries around the world. She has been involved in pharmacy and health advocacy for more than eight years now at various levels from grassroot campaigns to national and global advocacy. Tanushree Chairs the Health Education and Literacy Working Group of the WHO Youth Council and is the Spokesperson for the Global Youth Voices convened by the GGTC for tobacco control advocacy. She is an active member of the YOUNGO and UNEP CYMG for Climate and Environment advocacy. Tanushree has represented IPSF and led IPSF delegations to various global high level events such as the World Health Assembly; World Health Summit; UNFCCC COP and June Climate Meetings and WHO SEARO Regional Committee Meeting. She is dedicated to promoting and fostering meaningful youth engagement in global health governance and advocating for public health issues to create a healthier world. Some of her focus areas include NCDs, Digital Health, Climate change and health and AMR.
