Peter Derrek Hof

Ambassador Peter-Derrek Hof is a career diplomat with 33 years of experience in the Dutch foreign service. He currently serves as Director of the Department of Social Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as well as Ambassador Women’s Rights and Gender Equality. He is within the Ministry responsible for Global Health, including Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights as well as cooperation with civil society and Gender Equality. He has previously served as Ambassador to Yemen and Ambassador to Central America as well as in various multilateral and bilateral functions.
