Kalipso Chalkidou

Dr Kalipso Chalkidou is the Director of the Performance, Financing and Delivery (PFD) Department at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva. She was the founding Head of the Department of Health Finance at the Global Funds and a Visiting Professor of Global Health at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. Prior to the Global Fund, she was Director of Global Health Policy and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Development. Her work has concentrated on helping governments build technical and institutional capacity for using evidence to set investment priorities en route to UHC.
