About Ariane McCabe
Ariane McCabe is GSK’s Senior Director for Global Health Policy & Advocacy and Geneva Hub and is a member of the Global Health Access Leadership team. In this role, Ariane leads GSK’s work to shape the policy and financing environment to support access at scale to GSK’s Global Health portfolio and pipeline products, in particular treatments and vaccines for infectious diseases including TB, Malaria and AMR. She led the establishment of the Global Health Policy & Advocacy function in GSK.
She and the team work closely with key global and regional stakeholders, NGOs, governments and advocacy organisations to change the trajectory of high-burden infectious diseases in lower income countries. Ariane is also a member of the Stop TB Board, representing private sector companies, and also chairs the IFPMA Health Progress Working Group.
She brings over 20 years of experience working in external relations, health policy and access and is dedicated to expanding access to health products. At GSK she was previously the Director of Global Health and Public Affairs in GSK Vaccines. Before coming to GSK, Ariane worked on policy, partnership development and resource mobilisation for several global health and development organisations including Gavi, African Enterprise Challenge Fund, the World Bank, IFPMA and the UN Global Compact. Ariane has a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Anthropology and Development from McGill University.
