About Amadou Doucoure
Dr. Amadou Doucouré is a public health physician specializing in health economics. He is certified in health systems research, sexual health and rights, and health systems management in developing countries and was a 2017 recipient of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program in Public Health.
Professionally, he has over 24 years of experience in the design, planning, and implementation of public health programs. Among other positions he was Director of Disease Control for 4 years before becoming the Director of Maternal and Child Health at the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene of Senegal. He is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of reproductive health policy.
